Maria Elias Received EPRA, Leadership and Entrepreneurial Award 2019 Community Creative Fund Raiser of the Year presented by Otunba Ade Adeshina, Founder/CEO Oba’y Community Trust UK.
Maria Elias is a 54 years old a mother of 3 grown children and a very proud grandmother of 4 beautiful grandchildren. Maria is currently a regional leader with 130 team members working for the company Partylite (candles and accessories). Over the 22 years the job has enabled her to meet and network across many different communities; this has led to her involvement with several charities raising awareness and money to support their great causes. She has also helped individuals using her skills and network support to help them raise money.
Working with others we have managed to raise over £100K to fund Breast Cancer, In Sues Name, Haven Hospice and Enfield Mayor’s event to name a few. Within the cross boroughs of North London and Hertfordshire I have worked closely with several schools, sporting clubs and hospitals to raise fund for good causes.
I thoroughly enjoy my work and the contribution it makes to everyone. I will continue to support and help when asked, and there is no nicer feeling and satisfaction when you know you have made a difference.
