The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has said, bank credit to the private sector rose to N36.37 trillion as of March 2022, representing N1.18 trillion net new loans to the real sector in the first quarter of the year. India announce 3,688 new Covid-19 infections, 50 fatalities

India saw a single day rise of 3,688 new coronavirus infections taking the total tally of Covid-19 cases to 4,30,75,864, while the active cases increased to 18,684, the government said on Saturday. According to the Union Health Ministry data updated at 8 am, the death toll rose to 5,23,803 with 50 more fatalities. The active cases constituted 0.04 percent of the total infections, while the national recovery rate was recorded at 98.74 percent, the health ministry said.
